In the week since the election we've begun the work to thank our supporters and reflect on history made, together.

Making history, together.
In the last 50 years only two people have made it to the runoff for Mayor of Nashville without having first been elected to another office in the county;
Alice Rolli and Phil Bredesen. Bredesen ran for mayor and then for congress before eventually winning his third campaign and serving as our city's fourth mayor beginning in 1991.
In the week since the election we've made a small dent in thanking our supporters and campaign team. The gratitude we feel for the opportunity to connect with so many people interested in a better way of governing - one that cares less about who gets the credit and more about getting a result - has been inspiring.
Our campaign launch message, here ([link removed] ) , and our campaign concession speech, here ([link removed] ) , never wavered in our belief that you can get more done when you stop operating from politics of division and you start working on advocating for policies - supporting public safety, improving schools, and responsibly managing city finances - that unite us and that matter, most.
We'll stay in touch and we hope you will, too.
Our best days are ahead.
Sincerely,
Alice
Closing the Campaign
If you are interested in supporting the campaign in closing out our finances, here is a memo from Mills Waterhouse ([link removed] ) about how our funds were spent in the runoff and how to support our efforts to retire the campaign debt from the first election.
We appreciate your consideration.
Thank you, Nashville!
