Hey there, folks.

It’s a well-known fact that Illinois’ 6th District has the kindest people, the best food, and the coolest small businesses. It’s an honor to live in this awesome district and represent it in Congress.

But here are a few facts you might not know about IL-06:

People from at least 27 different ethnicities and nationalities call IL-06 home (that’s why our food is so delicious and our holiday parades are so much fun).
We’ve voted for the winner of five out of six presidential elections since 2000.
For almost half a century, IL-06 didn’t elect a Democrat to Congress. That all changed in 2018, when we flipped this district blue.
This district was considered a 50/50 toss-up last year, at one point becoming the most competitive district in the country, according to FiveThirtyEight.

The people of IL-06 have always had my back, and I’m proud to have theirs in return. But the only way I can continue to fight for healthcare, choice, clean energy, labor rights, voting rights, and more on behalf of Illinoisans is by defending this district next November.
