Hi, it's Governor Katie Hobbs of Arizona. I'm reaching out to you with an urgent request.

Last year, I became the first Democratic governor to win in Arizona in more than a decade. I couldn't have done it without support from grassroots donors just like you. But our fight isn’t over. With razor-thin races in states like Kentucky and Mississippi this November, we’re counting on strong grassroots support.

Can you rush $3 – or whatever you can spare – to activate your Blue Firewall Membership before tonight's deadline and help the Democratic Governors Association defend and expand our blue wave of progress?

Winning tough elections isn't new for Democratic governors. We made history in 2022 in states across the country, including Arizona.

So far, in my first term, I've made crucial investments in infrastructure, affordable housing, and public education – along with working to protect abortion rights for everybody in my state. At the same time, I’ve proudly served as a brick wall against the radical, far-right agenda. I’ve vetoed 143 extreme GOP bills – more than double any governor in our state’s history.

If Democrats hadn’t won this seat, these bills – which attacked the LGBTQ+ community, undermined our democracy, and stripped away our civil rights – would have become law.

While the far right is busy fighting their culture wars, Democratic governors like my colleagues Roy Cooper in North Carolina and Gretchen Whitmer in Michigan are getting the job done. But Republicans are hellbent on putting an end to our progress in states like Kentucky and Louisiana. We simply cannot let this happen, and that's why I need YOUR help.
