On behalf of the entire ADL Education team, I am excited to embark on another school year as the young people in our lives return to the hallways of K-12 schools and college campuses across the country.

I hope that as part of the ADL community, you will help us take an active role in fighting antisemitism, rejecting bullying and challenging all forms of bias through education.

More than 1.5 million students in almost 2,000 schools were designated as

No Place for Hate (R) in 2022-2023. If schools in your area have not yet registered for ADL’s signature No Place for Hate program — a school-climate improvement program that fits each school’s unique culture and needs — consider how creating a more welcoming, inclusive and equitable environment, with students leading the way, can positively impact your entire community.

Here’s how you can find out more about how to get your school involved.

Register today for this school year’s virtual No Place for Hate Kick-Off for students, educators and families, featuring special guest Jonathan Van Ness, an Emmy-nominated television personality and LGBTQ+ advocate.

Student leaders and educators across the country can get engaged this year through ADL workshops with

resources and strategies for the classrooms and families can take part through discussion guides and reading recommendations.

There will also be opportunities for educators and students to more deeply examine antisemitism as a form of bias through a

new lesson plan about exploring Jewish identity and antisemitism through the lens of sports, and
[link removed]
online learning for educators and
[link removed]
digital learning experiences for students from the Echoes & Reflections Holocaust education program. Education on countering antisemitism is critical for everyone; as

ADL’s study found, people who correctly learned about the number of Jews killed in the Holocaust are less likely to believe in anti-Jewish tropes.

The students in your lives can keep using education to fight hate after the K-12 years. ADL’s recent reports have shown that on college campuses, incidents centered on vilification of Israel and Zionist students are climbing.
