Friend,
I wanted to remind you about our bi-annual membership conference. The deadline to apply <[link removed]> for The Young People’s Reproductive Justice Power Summit <[link removed]> is March 20, 2020. The Young People’s Reproductive Justice Power Summit is intended to be a space to be in community with one another while building upon their understanding of reproductive justice and organizing. This summit of our members throughout the country will be rooted in the leadership of young people of color, LGBTQIA+ folks, and folks from the South and Midwest.

We are at a crossroads for reproductive justice - and young people are increasingly the moral center of the progressive movement. We’ll be talking about reproductive justice at the intersections of race, class, gender, and the 2020 political landscape.
Join us to:
- Strategize with other young activists on abortion, sex ed, racial justice, and more
- Connect across and within states to share lessons and campaign ideas
- Gain practical skills and theoretical foundations for organizing, policy & communications
- Participate in an “unconference” - where you bring YOUR ideas to teach & share
- Celebrate the growing young people’s movement for reproductive justice
URGE values the knowledge, experience, and expertise our activists and members bring into the room and we want to cultivate a culture of shared knowledge and learning. URGE is working to make our Summit accessible to folks with disabilities, trans folks, parents/caregivers and all who may have accessibility needs because we know that young people with disabilities, trans folks, and parents/caregivers are a crucial part of this work, given how members of those communities are impacted by reproductive injustice. We know however, that while intention matters there are always improvements that can be made, and we welcome feedback and suggestions from members of those communities. Some accommodations being made can be found here <[link removed]>, and we ask that you please include all relevant information needed to make reasonable accommodations in your application.
Expenses (registration, travel, hotel, all meals) are paid for by URGE for our activists and members. Questions? Contact
