I’m taking over from Nalin for today’s $5 Friday and I’m excited to share a fun update with you.
This weekend my mom and I are headed back to our old stomping grounds at Clemson University. If you know my mom, you know she loves football season and cheering our Tigers on to victory, which is exactly what we’ll be doing tomorrow!

Although we like to see our team win, our team has experienced a loss or two. But, the thing I love about my mom is that she will NEVER give up on her team.
This got me thinking about why she is running for president. My mom loves our country because she knows that America is always worth fighting for. She’ll never back down in her fight to make our country strong and proud. And, she will fight every step of the way until she wins!

When I got to watch my mom take the stage for her first debate, it was incredible! It gave me chills being there in person and hearing the crowd go wild every time my mom talked about her vision for America.
Ever since then, my mom’s message and vision for our country has caught fire. Momentum is surging, she’s rising in the polls, and people across the country are fired up to watch her win!
Now, my mom is preparing for her second presidential debate that’s 5 days away, and I couldn’t be more excited to cheer her on to victory!
But, just like a football team needs fans, my mom needs loyal supporters like you on her side in order to have the strongest group of supporters leading up to her debate as possible.
That’s why I’m hoping you’ll send my mom a HUGE boost of support before she takes the stage. In honor of my mom’s debate in just 5 days, will you participate in today’s $5 Friday?

My name is Nikki Haley. I want to tell you a bit about myself and why I’m running for President of the United States.
I’m running for President because my parents came to America more than 50 years ago – an America that was strong and proud, and full of opportunities. I want them to know that America again.
I’m running for President as a military spouse. My husband is deployed and I want him and his military brothers and sisters to know their sacrifice means something – that we do love this country.
I’m running for President for the future of our kids. I have a daughter who just got married and I saw how hard it was for her and her husband to buy a home. I’m doing this for my son who’s a senior in college and shouldn’t have to worry about saying things on a paper that he doesn’t believe in just to get an A.
I’m running for my daughter, my son, and our future generations. I want them to experience the freedom and opportunity that the American Dream has to offer.
I’m running for President because we have a country to save!
I’ve seen that even on our worst days, we are blessed to live in America. But I also know that under Biden’s leadership, times are tough, our future is slipping, and America can be doing so much better.
As governor, I was dubbed a “jobs governor” because I slashed our unemployment rate, brought jobs back to our state, and shepherded in a successful economic recovery.
At the UN I fought for America, made sure our allies knew we had their backs, stood up for Israel even when others refused, and stood up to murderers and dictators to let them know that America was taking names.
I know how to make America strong and proud because I’ve done it before. And I’ll do it as your next President.
As President, I’ll revitalize our economy, support small businesses, stop Washington’s spending sprees, protect our border, champion school choice, and save America’s future.
