[1]Ayanna Pressley

When I
think of someone who is a righteous fighter, I think of Ayanna Pressley.

From student debt cancelation to abortion justice to racial equity and
more, Ayanna stands up for the people who sent her to Washington.

Ayanna is one of the main leaders who fought to get student debt
cancelation to the President's desk — and I’m so proud to have partnered
with her in this fight.

As we advocated for student debt cancelation, we continually heard the
same thing over and over. That canceling student debt was never going to
happen. That we were never going to get something like this done.

My response to that was: You don’t get what you don’t fight for — and it
sounds like you haven’t met Ayanna Pressley yet. And despite an extremist
Supreme Court, Ayanna and I continued to press for this essential relief,
and he has canceled student debt for millions of borrowers through a
variety of new initiatives — with more to come. No corrupt court should
stand in the way of the will of the people. Our fight continues.

Simply
put, this would not have happened without Ayanna — and the members of this
movement. I need — we all need — Ayanna to stay in Congress so that we can
keep pressing for change.

campaign and Ayanna’s so we can continue fighting side by side?

This is just one of many plans that Ayanna and I have been working on
together. We recently re-introduced the Anti-Racism in Public Health Act,
which would address the public health impacts of structural racism and
declare racism the public health crisis that it is.

We launched a nationwide bus tour to campaign for Supreme Court reform —
advocating for Court expansion and passing a binding code of ethics for
Supreme Court justices.

And with Ayanna’s lead, we partnered together to ensure an LGBTQ+ senior
housing center in Boston received critical funding after Republicans
stripped it away.

[ [link removed]- ]I’m grateful to call Ayanna a friend and a partner in Congress. She
fights for the people who most need our government to be on their side. If
you can, will you split a contribution to support our re-election
campaigns, so we can keep up our fight in Massachusetts and across the
country?

Thanks for being a part of this,

Elizabeth
