Hi John,

Want to protect the ocean and plan for your future and save money? You can do all three, in just 15 minutes.

We're giving you a free will worth £100, no strings attached. And our reason is twofold:

One, it's simply a way for us to thank you for your support.

Two, it's an opportunity to protect the ocean's future. Even if just 1% of our supporters chose to pledge a gift in their will, it'll fund our campaigns for years to come.

We only have a limited number left to give away, and many of our supporters have taken theirs already, so I'd recommend claiming yours soon!

Find answers to the most common will-related questions below.

Why is an ocean charity giving me a free will?

We need to protect the ocean for decades to come. The threats it faces – sewage pollution, plastic pollution, the climate emergency – can't be fixed overnight. But we won't stop campaigning until they are.

Pledging a gift in your will to Surfers Against Sewage will help protect the ocean long in to the future. So we give free wills to everyone – and if only one supporter leaves a gift, it's a major win for the ocean.

For everyone else, it's a great benefit and a way for us to show our appreciation for your ocean activism!

Do I have to leave SAS a gift in my free will?

Not at all. There are no strings attached and you can choose to do it anonymously if you prefer. If you do decide to include a gift to us, we promise to make every penny of count in our fight to save the ocean.

I have a will already. Do I need another?

It’s a good idea to update your will every five years to make sure your wishes haven't changed.

If it's been a while since you wrote your will, starting from scratch could be the easiest option. Plus, writing your will through Farewill means you can easily update it anytime.

Can I get a person to help me write my will?

Absolutely! If you want to talk through your will with an expert, Farewill can help you make a will on the phone [[link removed]]– and best of all, it's still free. Just call 020 4538 7379 [tel:02045387379] and use the code SAS-MEM23

Farewill can even send you a printed copy, so you have it for your records.
