According to InSight Crime ([link removed]) , Venezuela was the most violent country in Latin America and the Caribbean (with a homicide rate of 60.3 per 100,000 inhabitants), followed by Jamaica (47.4) and Honduras (41.2). Chile (2.6) was the least violent, followed by Argentina (5).
