What’s happening in Alabama is a disgrace, John. 

Republican Attorney General Steve Marshall declared that he has the right to prosecute folks who help pregnant women leave the state to have an abortion. 

This comes on the heels of Mississippi AG Lynn Fitch attempting to track women who leave the state to receive abortion care. 

States like Alabama and Mississippi have some of the most restrictive abortion bans in the country, and now they’re trying to trap women and prevent them from leaving in fear of prosecution. 

We don’t know how many times we can send out an email and call the state of our country dystopian — but that’s exactly what it is.
