We Have Breaking News this North Texas Giving Day!
Give Before Midnight Tonight to Help Valerie Kloosterman
Dear John,
We’re rapidly approaching the final hours of today’s special giving event—and I want to make sure you don’t miss out on this breaking case update!
We just received a critical update on Valerie Kloosterman’s case against her former employer the University of Michigan Health System.
Judge Jane Beckering is allowing Valerie’s lawsuit to proceed in federal court. This is a major victory and step in the right direction so that she can continue her battle for justice.
Here’s our Director of Media Relations, Chris Freund, explaining what this small victory means for Valerie:

Further, the court cited our Coach Kennedy Supreme Court victory, which bolsters Valerie's claims of religious hostility against the woke medical institution.
Valerie was fired for refusing to bow down to the University of Michigan Health System when they demanded that she abandon her religious convictions.
She simply could not use biology-obscuring pronouns or refer patients for “gender transition” drugs or procedures, both of which violated her Christian beliefs and her medical judgment.
In a meeting with her then-employer, a Michigan Health diversity representative called Valerie “evil,” blamed her for gender dysphoria-related suicides, and told her she could not take the Bible or her religious beliefs to work with her.
Clearly, Valerie was targeted for her beliefs and fired for her faith.
Her case is one example of everyday Americans who lost their life’s calling to a toxic cancel culture that wants to eliminate faith from our country.
She joins a long list of First Liberty clients—including Lacey Smith, Marli Brown and Fire Chief Ron Hittle—who refuse to be canceled for their faith.
Each of these patriots are taking heroic stands that could turn out to be pivotal for the future of religious freedom for generations to come.
