Team, do you have a second?
It’s been a year and a half since the Sunshine Protection Act was approved by the Senate, but we’re still no closer to enacting permanent daylight savings time (how our clocks are currently set) across the nation.
So, we want to know: Do you think it’s about time we make daylight savings time permanent? Click here to let us know! [[link removed]]

While this may not be the most pressing issue our country is facing right now, this debate has significant consequences for all of us.
Supporters of the Sunshine Protection Act argue that the ‘spring forward’ and ‘fall back’ method we currently use is an outdated system. And there’s evidence that the additional hour of light during daylight savings time reduces energy costs, increases economic activity, and contributes to a healthier lifestyle by promoting more physical activity.
Opponents of the bill say that it’s ultimately unnecessary to make such a big change. Specifically, that darker mornings increase car accident rates and disrupt sleeping rhythms which, in turn, could stunt productivity and lead to larger health problems.
Whatever side of the fence you fall on, Susie Lee wants to hear your thoughts on the legislation.
So, can you share whether you’re in support of the Sunshine Protection Act? It will only take a minute! [[link removed]]
