Celebrating Constitution Week, Matt Dolan reflects on the enduring values and ideals that have made the United States exceptional.
- Matt Dolan marked the 236th anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Constitution by authoring
an op-ed that called to mind the enduring values that our founding document established.
- In the op-ed, Dolan referenced the important role Ohio native Olga Weber played in securing the recognition of both Constitution Day and Constitution Week nationwide.
- “There is a lot of division and polarization in our politics currently,” Dolan said. “But for our system of government to continue flourishing, it must be grounded in a set of basic, fundamental principles under which we all abide and respect. For more than 230 years, the United States Constitution has provided us with that set of unifying principles. I believe it still does today.”
