Last week, Kevin McCarthy decided to cave to the outrageous demands of the most extreme members of his party to launch an impeachment inquiry, as our nation sits on the brink of a devastating shut-down that will leave millions of workers high and dry, wondering where they will get their next paycheck.

It’s the worst kind of politics that will have severe consequences for our nation and working people. But the truth is, it doesn’t have to be this way.

While Republicans throw a temper tantrum, Suzan has been working relentlessly in Congress, not just to keep our government open, but to address the real issues in the lives of Washingtonians.
