John,

Climate scientists are raising the alarm: Hurricanes are beginning to make landfall all the way up in New England and in southern California, threatening regions of the U.S. that aren’t prepared to respond because they’ve never had to before.

John, the signs couldn’t be clearer. We need to double down on our efforts to stop the climate crisis, and we need to do it now. Can you please take immediate action and support the SEEC Members fighting to reverse these trends? >> [[link removed]]

TAKE ACTION NOW [[link removed]]Hurricanes rely on warm water conditions to travel, which means that as ocean temperatures climb across the globe, new areas are becoming susceptible for the first time.

The Gulf of Maine , where Hurricane Lee caused mass power outages and claimed a life just days ago, is one of the fastest warming bodies of water in the world.

John, this is not an issue we can afford to ignore. Our SEEC Members in Congress are fighting for clean energy measures proven to reduce the emissions causing climate change, but they can’t keep pushing ahead without the help of the grassroots supporters reading this email. $5, $15, $50 — any amount you can chip in today makes a difference. Can you chip in right now? >> [[link removed]]
