Registration Closing for Online Polity Course

The polity of the United Methodist movement is fundamental to why the church, both locally and at-large, operates the way it does. It takes into account our church’s formation, its history and how that carries through to today. This is a great class for all laity to understand who the people called Methodists really are. Currently offered only once per year, this course is a required class for those seeking to obtain Certified Lay Minister status. The fall offering of this course will be facilitated by Rev. Ann Mowery, a retired United Methodist elder, and held on Monday evenings in the month of October via Zoom. Forging a New Path with Rebekah Simon-Peter

Does it feel like your church hasn’t bounced back post-pandemic? Join us on Saturday, Oct. 28, as Rebekah Simon-Peter leads an in-person event focused on practical pathways forward for all ministry contexts. After this event, participants will be able to name the resources their church already has and ideas for how to use those resources to engage the community in outwardly focused, hopeful and life-giving ministry. Learn more and register at www.moumethodist.org/eventdetail/how-to-do-more-with-less-with-rebekah-simon-peter-17273267.
