John!
The
Forward team in Pennsylvania continues to make headlines with more and
more public officials deciding to run their campaign as
Forwardists.
Allegheny
County Executive candidate Joe Rockey is the latest
to announce he will be running as a Forward
Republican. At an event
announcing this decision, Forward Party Co-Chair Andrew Yang
highlighted Joe’s experience in business and his endorsements that
span the political spectrum, including local unions and small business
owners.
Forward Party Co-Chair Christine
Todd Whitman had this to say: “In a time where politicians are more interested in promoting
ideology than solving problems, Joe's proven track record in business
shows that he's going to get things done. The people of Allegheny
County are facing unprecedented challenges, and they're looking for a
leader who will focus on real solutions and consensus. Joe is that
leader.”
This is the fifth announcement
out of Pennsylvania over the last three months, with candidates opting to sign the Forward
pledge, promising to uphold the best interests of voters and to govern
rooted in our values-based platform.
BUT it’s not just in the
northeast where we are making headway. Joe now joins other Forwardists across the
country running for local positions in Arizona, California, Colorado,
Maryland, Florida, and many more to come.
Let’s
keep going…
Not Left. Not Right.
Forward.
PS. We are hosting a
