Hi, John, Yesterday, Congresswoman Lois Frankel reached out to tell you about Ron DeSantis and his attack on mail-in ballots. (If you haven't read that email, I attached it at the bottom of this one) Today, though, as part of her team, I wanted to give you some insight as to how the new law affects our campaign.
Because it went into effect this year, there are still a lot of people who don't know that in order to receive a mail-in ballot this year, they must re-register.
This means that before we can tell people about how the Congresswoman plans to stand up to Republican nonsense, we have to spend extra time telling people about this unnecessary and burdensome new law!
Florida is mailing out ballots for elections THIS YEAR, which means this is time we simply don't have. That's why we need your help to reach as many people as we can – will you spare any amount you can toward Congresswoman Lois Frankel's reelection campaign? |

My, my, my, John, in my 35-year career, I'm still appalled by the lengths Ron DeSantis and the GOP will go to limit our rights. Let me explain: a few months ago, Ron DeSantis signed a law requiring voters to resubmit requests for mail in ballots twice as often as before.
Before I continue, I'm running to continue calling out MAGA attacks on our rights AND working with residents directly to ensure this new law doesn't prevent them from voting by mail, but our campaign needs your help now more than ever. Will you chip in $15, $35, or $50 toward my reelection campaign?

John, I want to be clear – this new law is a calculated burden placed on Floridians to limit our right to vote.
And this isn't the first time we've seen something like this out of Ron DeSantis. He has been an ardent supporter of cutting Social Security, severely limiting our right to an abortion, and stripping away our freedom to feel safe in our state.
This is all to say that now is a crucial time for Democratic campaigns like mine. We need experienced elected officials to stand up to far-right extremists, because Ron DeSantis is only one of many.
John, I pride myself on being a strong voice for our people and upholding my Democratic Values in DC. But the GOP are going to be working their hardest to unseat me in 2024 – will you support my reelection campaign today?
