Our children, as well as their academic and interpersonal success, depend on safe, affirming learning environments, and that starts by electing leaders who are committed to every student’s success. 

This year has been extremely difficult for LGBTQ+ students in Virginia’s classrooms — whether it's been attacks from anti-LGBTQ extremist groups like Moms for Liberty or policy attacks from Governor Glenn Youngkin and his administration. 

Trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming students need our help at the local level, and that means showing up, voting for, and electing leaders who value their authentic selves, and are committed to protecting the spaces where they can grow and learn.
