Even with President Biden signing landmark gun safety legislation in 2022—the most significant in nearly three decades—it's clear that our work is far from over.

Gun violence isn't just a statistic; it's a grim reality affecting tens of thousands of lives each year. In fact, in 2021, 48,830 people died from gun-related injuries in the U.S., according to the CDC, making it one of the leading causes of preventable deaths. And gun violence is now the leading cause of death among U.S. children. But while politicians offer thoughts and prayers, they have failed to protect our families and communities from gun violence.
