While the House GOP is bankrolled by megadonors, our team is made up of grassroots supporters, like you, doing what you can to make an impact – and for that, I am eternally grateful.
I want to be very honest with you: The actions of the House GOP are sending the American people on a collision course with disaster. A complete government shutdown is looming because of the extremist wing in the majority, and rather than focus on what’s best for the people, all Kevin McCarthy and his extreme right-wing caucus are putting their energy into is a false, trumped-up impeachment inquiry.
When I first ran for Congress, I did not think we would be battling this much just to maintain the basic function of government — let alone protect the commonsense progress on critical issues like climate change and protecting our rights made in the last two Democrat-led congresses. But here we are.
You know what’s at stake if the chaotic GOP continues targeting our rights and freedom. It’s up to us to do everything we can to take back the House.
