In the issue's featured article, economist Dean Baker makes the case that countries with a rising ration of retirees to workers shouldn't see any declines in living standards as long as they can continue to make gains in productivity.

Global Partner Event: Panel with WINGS and Maya Health Alliance!

Join us for World Contraception Day next week by attending a virtual event with two of our Global Partners!
We're excited to hear from representatives from WINGS [[link removed]] and Wuqu' Kawoq (Maya Health Alliance) [[link removed]] . Based in Guatemala, both organizations work to deliver high-quality reproductive health education and services in their local communities, with a particular focus on indigenous populations.
They will offer insights into their missions and discuss the challenges they face in providing safe, affordable care in rural regions of Guatemala. In addition, they will share testimonials from people whose lives have been transformed by the services offered, further highlighting the real-world benefits of accessible reproductive health care.
Their presentation takes place on Tuesday, September 26th, at 2pm ET/11am PT .
