Our September 30th deadline is not some made-up deadline like other campaigns use to juice their fundraising. I hate sky-is-falling fundraising emails as much as you. I’m only asking because this FEC-mandated deadline will make a real impact on our campaign.
After this reporting period ends, we’ll have to disclose exactly how much we’ve raised and from how many people. And because we’re under a microscope, we need to post strong results.
