Understanding and addressing the impact of structural racism on health
is essential to building health equity.

The October 2023 issue of Health Affairs, "Tackling Structural Racism in
Health," builds on the groundbreaking work contained in our February
2022 theme issue, "Racism & Health
."

It deepens and extends the scholarship on the relationship between
structural racism, health, and health care with new research and
perspectives on the politics of racism and how it is ingrained in health
research and society.

You are invited to join us on Tuesday, October 3, 1:00 p.m. - 5:00
p.m. (Eastern) for a virtual forum

at which panels of distinguished authors and experts will present their
work and engage in discussions on topics including "Politics and the
