Hi John!
A few months ago, I was talking with my mother and reminiscing about leaders of education in our community. Many of them taught during the school year and then spent their summers enriching students through various summer youth programs.
These tireless educators have had a huge impact on me throughout my life.
This is what made it an honor to serve as this year’s Convocation Speaker for the University of Delaware College of Education & Human Development.
It was inspiring to witness so many incredible graduates starting their journey of serving others in schools and non-profit organizations!
That’s why it’s critical that we work together to create a state where every child receives an excellent education regardless of zip code. This will strengthen our talent pipeline that directly supports our business community and grows economic opportunity for everyone.
We must prioritize advocating to ensure all kids get a high-quality education.
