The DLCC is the official party committee that elects Democrats to state legislatures. State legislative races are severely underfunded, so contributions to the DLCC go much further to building and defending Democratic power across the country.

Plus, in 2023, state Democrats have outperformed expectations by an average of 11 points in special elections. That’s thanks to the work that we do – and supporters like you who donate regularly.

All our progress could be for nothing if our candidates don’t have the resources to mobilize voters in key battleground states. In 47 days, MAGA Republicans in Virginia could take full control of state government, ban abortion, and enact a far-right agenda.
