John,
We’re less than six months to Election Day, and I have two important
updates:
1. The LA Times released a poll that showed us three points behind our
opponent. That same poll found 36% of voters are still undecided, so
reaching those undecided Californians will be the key to pulling ahead and
winning this race.
2. Our federal end of quarter fundraising deadline is September 30th.
We’ll have to report how much we’ve raised over the past three months, and
because we’ve been outraised the past two quarters, it’s critical we pull
ahead.
[ [link removed] ]I’m asking if you can consider pitching in $5, $25, or whatever makes
sense for you that will be split between my campaign and the Progressive
Change Campaign Committee.
Your contribution will help us reach key voters and close the fundraising
gap between us and our opponent. I’m proud to be the only Democrat in this
race rejecting corporate PAC and federal lobbyist money, and that means we
really count on supporters like you.
Thanks for your support!
