John,

It’s been a wonderful (and very productive) summer on the trail here in CA-41.

When we first launched, I never imagined how incredible the outpouring of support from our community would be. It's been awesome to see this grassroots team step up to fuel our efforts. In fact, in our first six weeks, we raised over $890,000 from 4,300+ donors!

Thanks to you, we’ve been able to connect with thousands of voters to share our vision for a better CA-41. We locked in a number of critical local endorsements – including from the Desert Stonewall Democrats, Democrats of the Desert, Democrats of Southwest Riverside County, Palm Desert Greens Democratic Club, Greater Democrats of Riverside, and more.

We also kicked off our listening tour. I’ve already been lucky to hear from so many veterans, non-profit leaders, unions, construction workers, small business owners, Republicans, Democrats, and Independents about what working families need from Congress across Riverside County. And I’ve never been more excited to get to work for them - and you - after I win next year.

Below are some photos from the trail. I hope you enjoy them, and I hope to see you on the trail soon.

Thank you for making this work possible.

Will

Earlier this summer, we launched our Listening Tour to hear from the CA-41 community directly about the issues we face. It’s been an honor to meet with so many voters and amazing organizations – including Milvet and Feeding America.

We had the opportunity to tour the Carpenters Training Center in Riverside. It was very informative hearing from young apprentices who are working on remarkable infrastructure projects across CA-41.

I also had the opportunity to read the names of 9/11 victims in Corona at a September 11th Memorial. We will never forget those who we lost on that dark day, and we will always remember and honor the first responders who answered the call in New York City, Pennsylvania, and at the Pentagon.

Our grassroots supporters hosted an exciting fundraising event in Lake Elsinore – in the Southwest portion of our district. It was great meeting with and hearing from folks about how we can move our region and country forward.

I’d like to extend a special thank you to the supporters and new friends who attended our two meet and greet events in Corona. The turnout and energy at both was incredible.

Far and away my best selfie on the campaign to date. :)

Our campaign has been getting a lot of national attention. We were recently featured on CNN and MSNBC, and in Bloomberg and The Hill.

And perhaps the biggest news is that The Cook Political Report recently moved our race to a toss-up!

The Cook Political Report: CA-41 moved from Lean R to Toss Up; 'The leftward trend of [CA-41] gives Rollins and Dems a terrific opportunity, particularly in a high-turnout presidential cycle'

My favorite part about the campaign is being on trail and connecting with folks, but the truth is it can get very expensive coordinating events across a district as large as CA-41. Our opponent can depend upon corporate PAC money from far-right special interests, we're depending on support from individual donors like you.

We have a big FEC deadline coming up and we want to show our grassroots strength. If you can, would you be able to make a $3 before we close our books on September 30th?

Thanks for your support!

Will
