Team, it's Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers coming to you with a very important message: We have an opportunity to elect Democrats up and down the ballot in 2023 and 2024.

From protecting and expanding our blue firewall in the states to sending President Biden back to the White House in 2024, we have a chance to make a once-in-a-generation change and protect our progress.

With so much at stake, we must be strategizing at every level of government. I won’t beat around the bush. Winning elections is just the first step in securing our progress against a rising tide of right-wing extremism. Once in office, Democratic governors across the country get to work on the issues that directly impact our constituents. Our opponents are working night and day to strip away abortion rights, weaken the right to vote, undermine our democracy, attack LGBTQ+ Americans, and block gun safety reforms. Meanwhile, Democratic governors like myself are fighting to expand our most fundamental rights, ensure a high-quality education for our kids, and protect our very democracy. But ALL of our progress hinges on defending and expanding our blue firewall of Democratic governors.

Our gains or losses in 2023 could set the tone for Democrats in 2024 as we fight to protect essential programs like Social Security, expand our blue firewall, and keep President Biden in the White House.
