I've been pretty busy lately -- and with everything that's happening in Congress, I've been focusing on defending our democracy and fighting for the American people at all costs.

But I just got off the phone with my campaign manager, and he told me we've fallen behind on our February end-of-month fundraising goal. Friend, it's recommended that new members of Congress spend a certain amount of hours per week on the phone with big donors -- but that hasn't been my priority. You are. I believe there's a better way to fund campaigns: with grassroots support.

Our $20,000 goal is certainly ambitious, but we wouldn't set such a big goal for this month if we didn't need to. With all the attacks coming my way right now, outside groups think we're vulnerable and that they have a chance to slip in and take back this seat and the House majority from us.
