Last year, ADL reported on 139 antisemitic assaults in our annual Audit of Antisemitic Incidents. That’s up 26% from the previous year.
In all, antisemitic acts across the country were up 36% — with an average of 10 a day — the highest ADL has ever recorded.

Tragically, all too often antisemitism and hate turn violent, even deadly.
Many extremists involved in antisemitic violence are motivated and pushed over the edge by conspiracies and antisemitic tropes they see online.
Even worse, extremism and hate which in the past would have been relegated to the fringes of society have reached unprecedented mainstream audiences on social media and in the irresponsible messaging of influencers and politicians. And this has led to vilification, harassment and sometimes even violence aimed at real people just because of who they are, how they worship, what they believe or who they love.
