Hi, it's Terese Casey. I'm writing to you today to tell you about my husband Bob and the person I've known for more than forty years as he runs for re-election.
Bob and I met in college before marrying and building our lives here in Scranton, where Bob grew up. We have lived in the same home since 1991, where we raised our four daughters Elyse, Caroline, Julia, and Marena and where our two grandsons, Max and Aiden visit often with “Bomba and Mimi".
Whether it was coaching basketball games, imagining the most elaborate bedtime stories for the girls, or being the constant cameraman for all our home videos, he always showed up for our family with love, joy, compassion, and humor.
It's those same qualities that Bob has brought to his work as a Senator for our Commonwealth every single day. Nobody cares more about improving the lives of Pennsylvanians than he does. I've seen firsthand just how hard he fights for families like ours in the Senate.
Don't just take it from me. All you have to do is look at his record to know why we need him in the Senate. He's worked to bring jobs back to our state, lower costs for our seniors and those with disabilities, make childcare more affordable, and more.
But the reality is, this re-election campaign won't be easy. In fact, it might be our toughest one yet. That's why I wanted to reach out today, to ask you if you'd join our team and help make sure Bob wins this race.
I've watched Bob make the early morning and late night trips down to Washington or across the Commonwealth, to all 67 counties, from our home in Scranton day after day, year after year. Bob is a true Pennsylvanian and no one works harder for the people of this Commonwealth than he does. Thank you for stepping up so he can keep serving our state.
