TELLS A STORY
I’m About To Turn 40 And Suddenly I’m In My Tattoo Era

Samm Davidson dabbled in tattoos pre-kids, in her 20s, all of them “pretty basic” and “relatively hidden,” she admits. “Well, 11 years later, at the ripe and spunky age of 39, I’ve decided to dive headfirst into my tattoo era. And I’m having a blast... and working through some stuff while doing it.”

Recently, she’s gotten the numbers 11:11; a spray of baby’s breath on the back of her arm; and a squiggly line on her forearm. Each of them has an important meaning for her, and she’s not stopping there, either — she’s already got an appointment for more. Check it out and see if you find yourself looking for inspo on Instagram.

I Had A Crush On My Male Midwife

Sometimes, you meet somebody who just gives you butterflies. For Milena Nigam, that person was her male midwife: “Our midwife held the fetal doppler to my abdomen to let the sound fill the room; his goofy, wide, awe-filled smile told me, Your baby’s existence makes me so happy. Your body is a thing of wonder. I loved the feeling of pleasing him, and there was something else there, too. His calm brown eyes. His studious glasses perched partway down his creased forehead. He helped me pull my T-shirt back over my still-flat belly and I felt warm all over.” You’ll want to read this one!
