Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) President Morton A. Klein, ZOA Chairman Mark Levenson, Esq., the entire ZOA Board of Directors and staff, and the ZOA community send our heartfelt condolences to U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman on the passing of his dear mother, Mrs. Adelaide Friedman, and wife of the late Rabbi Morris S. Friedman, a reknowned and highly respected Jewish congregational leader at Temple Hillel in North Woodmere, NY who was head of the New York Board of Rabbis. Mrs. Friedman was a beloved high school english teacher. 

It is always too soon to lose a beloved parent.  We hope that it is at least some comfort to the Friedman family that Mrs. Friedman lived to see her son become the greatest U.S. ambassador to Israel in history, and to see her son play a crucial role in numerous wonderful, groundbreaking events, including the Trump administration's move of the U.S. Embassy to the Jewish people's eternal capital Jerusalem, and the recognition of Israeli sovereignty over the Israeli Golan Heights. 

May Ambassador Friedman and his entire family be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
