Accountability is finally here.

After discovering mountains of evidence against the Biden Crime Family, House Republicans recently launched an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden. While I believe Speaker McCarthy’s decision to begin an impeachment inquiry is certainly overdue, I fully support his move, as it will give the House Judiciary, Oversight, and Ways & Means Committees additional tools to investigate the President.

As expected, the White House is having a complete meltdown over this new development. Biden’s Press Secretary even claimed that it’s “actually an actual fact” that there’s “no evidence” to back up House Republicans’ impeachment inquiry.

Delusional!

So far, House Republicans have uncovered texts, emails, bank records, wire transfers, suspicious activity reports, critical eyewitness testimony, and the FD-1023 – all of which reveal that Joe Biden was aware of and involved in the Biden Crime Family’s corruption.

Yet the White House is determined to conceal every shred of evidence from the American people. In fact, the Biden Administration sent a letter to top U.S. news executives urging them to “ramp up scrutiny” of our impeachment inquiry, claiming that it’s “based on lies.” This is not only completely inappropriate, but it is false and flies in the face of reality.

As our impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden moves forward, please know that we will leave no stone unturned in our pursuit of truth, transparency, and justice. The American people demand – and deserve – nothing less.

Last week, Hunter Biden was indicted on three federal firearms charges, including two counts of making false statements on forms required for gun purchases and one count related to his possession of a firearm despite knowing that he was an illegal drug user. This development comes after Hunter’s sweetheart plea deal, which included a felony firearm charge and two federal misdemeanor counts of failure to pay federal income taxes, fell apart.  

While Hunter’s indictment is long overdue, don’t be fooled by this illusion of justice. U.S. Attorney David Weiss, who was selected by U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland to serve as special counsel after negotiating Hunter’s now-botched sweetheart plea deal, has a long history of protecting the Biden family. It’s no coincidence that Weiss decided to charge Hunter with the only crime that he didn’t commit with his father, President Joe Biden. While no crime should go unchecked, the Biden Crime Family’s corruption is far more concerning to the American people, as Hunter and Joe’s involvement in corrupt foreign business dealings undoubtedly threatens our national security. Furthermore, this slap on the wrist will likely result in no jail time for Hunter, as President Biden is expected to pardon his son after the 2024 election. Simply put, Hunter’s indictment on federal gun charges is a good start, but more charges must be brought against both Hunter and Joe Biden in order to deliver real accountability to the American people.

Despite President Biden’s desperate efforts to tout his economic policies, now known as “Bidenomics,” as a resounding success for the nation, the latest inflation numbers suggest otherwise. Last week, the Labor Department confirmed that inflation increased for a second straight month in August, as prices climbed to 3.7%. Food, housing, and energy costs continue to hit Americans the hardest, burdening workers and families struggling to make ends meet amidst declining earnings. In fact, since Joe Biden took office, real wages have dwindled by 3.1%, while prices have surged by 17.4%.

The Biden Administration’s latest misguided attempt to spin this harsh economic reality is comparing “Bidenomics” to “MAGAnomics.” Yet considering our economy boomed under President Trump’s leadership, Americans aren’t buying Biden’s latest attack. Additionally, House Republicans have remained focused on fighting inflation, unleashing American energy, and enhancing economic growth — while President Biden has refused to advance any of our commonsense policies. Please know that I will continue working with my colleagues to combat Biden’s failed economic agenda in order to provide you and your family with much-needed relief.

As you may know, House Republicans are ironing out a proposal to extend current government funding for 30 days. This proposed short-term spending bill, known as a continuing resolution (CR), includes an 8% cut to non-defense funding, as well as border security policies from H.R. 2, the Secure the Border Act.
