John, last week, Congresswoman Delia Ramirez reached out to tell you about our team's first weekend of petitioning (if you haven't read that email, we've attached it to the bottom of this one). 

Our team has set an ambitious goal of collecting 4000 signatures to show how much support Delia has for re-election. And to get those, we need to support our field team to 1) knock on doors 2) tell folks about Delia's work in Congress, and of course, 3) collect signatures.

Delia is so excited to build a large field operation this year, bringing in our partners and endorsed campaigns to reach as many residents as possible.

Our movement is stronger together, but it still requires resources to empower our efforts. 10,000 pieces of union-printed campaign literature (with Delia's record and vision) costs about $1,055. 

John, our coalition needs your help – we need grassroots support to really kick off Delia's reelection campaign on the right foot. Will you chip in any amount toward funding our petition efforts?

I had a great time supporting other candidates, collecting signatures from people across my district, and laying out my plans to continue the work I've begun in Congress. 

But the work is just getting started – I'm going to need thousands of signatures to get my name on the ballot in 2024. Will you help us meet more residents across the district by chipping in any amount today?

John, petitioning is more than asking folks to sign their name on a piece of paper. 

My team and I are organizing Petitioning Teams to knock on doors, answer questions about who I am and what I stand for, and encourage folks to show their support through materials like yard signs, buttons, or t-shirts.

But this isn't going to be cheap – costs associated with petition season, like supply orders and training for our volunteers, take up a huge chunk of the budget.
