Student loan payments are set to resume October 1, and millions of borrowers face financial uncertainty.

We must preempt this looming student loan default crisis.

I’ve joined with Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Rep. Ayanna Pressley, and dozens of other members of Congress to call on President Biden to do more in the push to cancel student debt.  

He can and must use additional tools to cancel student debt, address the rising cost of college, and make higher education affordable for people at all income levels.
