John,
It’s officially Hispanic Heritage Month. This month, we celebrate and honor the diverse culture, countless achievements, powerful resilience, and groundbreaking contributions of the Latino community across our city and nation.
I was proud and honored to have received the support of Latino leadership from every corner of Philadelphia. Together, we built an unstoppable, people-powered coalition looking to make transformative change across our city. Together we worked to turn out the vote for myself and other Democratic candidates during the primary election. It was truly a love letter to Philadelphia and an expression of our commitment to seeing this city thrive! I owe so much of this campaign’s success to our Latino coalition.
As your Democratic candidate running to become the city’s 100th mayor, I pledge to continue working tirelessly to ensure that Latino communities are heard and have the opportunity to succeed and thrive. Together, we can build a future where everyone has a seat at the table. Over the next month as we commemorate Hispanic Heritage Month, let us remember that our diversity is our strength and that by working together, we can build a safer, cleaner, greener future with economic opportunity for all. Happy Hispanic Heritage Month!
Sincerely,
Cherelle
