Hey folks!

I wanted to give you a personal update on what I’ve been up to these past
few weeks. (I even have some photos to share with you from my travels!)

We had a packed room in Elkhorn, Wisconsin! There’s still over a year
before Election Day, but that isn’t stopping Walworth County Democrats
from hosting more than 150(!) grassroots supporters in the area. We talked
about the critical work needed on the ground to win this election,
especially in red-leaning districts, and how my work in the Senate has
benefited Wisconsin’s rural communities.

I always say: You can’t write off anybody. Don’t write off any area. You
have to show up to listen, but also follow up and be a champion for the
pocketbook-issues that everybody struggles with. That’s what I have done
in the Senate, and it’s what I’ll continue to do for every Wisconsinite.

Recently, I joined the Rusk County Democrats to walk the County Fair in
Ladysmith. I thanked them for their hard work reaching rural voters in the
area and how significant that will be in this upcoming election.

I was honored to receive the endorsement of the Wisconsin Laborers’
District Council and got to tour their training center. Unions are the
backbone of Wisconsin’s economy, and I will continue to have their backs
in the Senate. I’m so grateful they’ve got mine, too!

And finally, I got to meet with medical students in Wauwatosa to discuss
reproductive freedom and my work to restore and expand protections for
Wisconsin women. We talked about the implications of the Dobbs decision in
states with restrictive abortion laws like ours, and the students got to
share their stories about how it has affected them.

I’m going to keep doing everything I can in the Senate to defend abortion
rights in our state and nationwide.

There’s nothing I enjoy more than traveling the state and meeting with the
folks I was elected to represent. It’s the most important part of the job,
and it’s all made possible thanks to members of this grassroots team —
that’s YOU!

[ [link removed] ]Can you help us keep this work going strong by pitching in to my
reelection campaign today? I’m counting on your support to continue
reaching folks across the state.
