The fight to end dog racing in the United States is advancing in Congress.

The Greyhound Protection Act, H.R. 3894, will make it a federal crime to engage in dog racing in all fifty states. It also outlaws remote wagering on greyhound races simulcast from foreign countries, and prevents the shipment of greyhounds for the purpose of dog racing. 

We are working with GREY2K USA Worldwide to convince Members of Congress to include this historic prohibition in the Farm Bill. The Farm Bill is must-pass legislation that is renewed by Congress every five years.

Please take a moment to send an email message (from this link) to your House and Senate Reps right away. We need as many co-sponsors as possible to demonstrate that there is overwhelming support for this bill.

After you send your email message, please call your Representatives as well. Be sure to say that you are a constituent and you would like your Representative to co-sponsor H.R. 3894. You can look up the phone number of your U.S. Reps here. (Look at the middle of the page where it says "Find your member by address:")

• Greyhound racing is cruel and inhumane.
• Racing greyhounds risk injury or death with every race.
• American gamblers should not support the cruelty of greyhound racing overseas.
• Dogs are valued companion animals and voters care about their welfare.
