Government support, falling costs and improved technology have kickstarted electric vehicle (EV) sales around the world; in 2022, 10% of global passenger vehicle sales were EVs. But to prevent the worst impacts of climate change, EV sales will need grow to 75%-95% of global passenger vehicle sales by 2030. Ten countries are proving that rapid EV scale-up is achievable.
