The Claremont Institute's Center for the American Way of Life is pleased to announce its call for paid Spring 2024 interns!
We are seeking enthusiastic, hard-working, intellectually curious candidates to intern (in-person) at our Washington, D.C. office. Interns will assist staff and scholars at Claremont's Center for the American Way of Life. We provide training and guidance to each intern, along with educational roundtables and lectures in collaboration with other organizations in the area.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conducting independent research projects
- Editing and drafting memos and other written documents
- Social media
- Working with staff on event planning and hosting
- Pitching articles
- Attend occasional lunch discussions with Center for the American Way of Life Washington Fellows and other guest speakers
Requirements
- A methodical approach to research
- Excellent writing and research abilities
- A keen eye for detail
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
- A passion for, and a desire to advance, the mission of the Claremont Institute
Salary range
Internships are paid, and college credit may be available.
