Plans to weaken the UK’s green policies were announced today. Please sign this petition to demand PM to re-think this decision.
Dear John
Rishi Sunak’s plans to weaken the UK’s green policies were announced today.
He wants to delay crucial targets. Including targets to phase out polluting cars that use fossil fuels. And targets to make rental homes greener and cheaper with more efficient heating.
We’ve already been forced to take the UK government to court because its climate plans aren’t good enough. These leaked plans would further undermine its response to the climate crisis.
The backlash is quickly growing, including from the prime minister’s own MPs and the car industry. So please sign this urgent petition today. And tell him to fix his weak climate plans. Not delay action even further.

The impacts of climate breakdown are wreaking havoc the world over. Right now, Libya is dealing with the devastation of extreme flooding. Yet, the PM thinks it’s up to other countries to step up climate policy.
The government’s climate plans are already too weak to meet the scale of the challenge. Together we can make it clear now is not the time to water down our climate commitments even more. Add your name to the petition today.

Thanks for all your support.
