Team,

Unsurprisingly, Greta’s opponent is attacking voting rights once again.

After a Mississippi court ruled that banning convicted felons who have served their time from voting qualifies as cruel and unusual punishment under our state’s constitution, Lynn Fitch is calling for the court to reverse their decision.

Greta, on the other hand, knows that the court made a positive step in defending voting rights in Mississippi. After people have served their time in Mississippi, continuing to punish them by banning them from voting is unacceptable and Greta knows it.

When we elect Greta as our next Attorney General, she’ll drop Fitch’s current request for a rehearing on this issue and protect rather than attack our constitutional rights.

Greta’s the fighter we need advocating for Mississippians across the state. But she can’t get there without our support. Can we count on you to chip in $10, $25, or whatever you can to support Greta and voting rights in Mississippi? [link removed]

Thanks so much for your support,

Team Greta
