Federal employees and their families should not be held hostage for partisan political purposes.

john,

If we don't take action right now, our federal government could shut down on October 1st.

So how are House Republicans using these critical days? Launching a sham impeachment inquiry, threatening their own party leadership and each other, and blocking any clean bills to avert a crisis.

If they continue, parks and public offices will be closed to the public, precious travel may be canceled, families of federal workers will lose out on income they need to make ends meet, and critical social services could be delayed or denied for families everywhere.

So we're asking you now: Will you join Kim in demanding House Republicans get to work to stop a shutdown before it's too late?

During the last government shutdown in 2018-19, over 800,000 federal employees were furloughed. Kim heard from countless constituents who were hurt. Federal employees and their families should not be held hostage for partisan political purposes.

We can't afford a government shutdown. Kim is working every day to prevent an October 1st shutdown, are you with her?

Add your name to our petition to demand House Republicans prevent another reckless government shutdown.

Thanks,

Team Schrier
