Now is the time to show [[link removed]] the Biden Administration we stand with them in support of lowering prescription drug costs for millions of people in the U.S. Seven drug companies, the Chamber of Commerce, and the National Infusion Center Association have all filed lawsuits to attempt to weaken or stop the Medicare negotiation program that would lower costs for Medicare and millions that rely on it.
The public supports these provisions, healthcare advocates across the country support these provisions, and we have an opportunity to give the Administration the backing they need to stand strong against these big drug companies and their army of lobbyists. Families USA, Center for Medicare Advocacy, and Public Citizen are asking you to join us on this sign-on letter to show the Biden Administration the depth of the movement that will stand with them as the defend these provisions. As a reminder, last month, the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) released its initial list of 10 drugs selected for price negotiations [[link removed]] under the Inflation Reduction Act.
