✅ Jessica Anderson (VA Delegate, District 71). Republicans control Virginia’s House of Delegates by a THIN margin – only four seats. But, according to ABC News, of the 100 House seats on the ballot in VA this year are considered competitive – Jessica’s race is one of them!

That means Jessica’s race could be one of only 7 other opportunities to ensure VA remains a pro-choice state and a safe haven for women across the South.

Jessica’s opponent was given a D on the ReproRising Legislative Scorecard for supporting anti-choice bills, and has regularly voted against reproductive rights and gun safety.

Her opponent, David Owen, recently came out in favor of a 15-week abortion ban – a dangerous and, frankly, ignorant proposal that would cause unnecessary suffering. Modern medical tests that detect serious problems in a pregnancy often cannot confirm these problems until closer to 20 weeks. This would require expectant mothers to carry a pregnancy to term even after learning that their baby will likely not survive after birth. We’re sick of male politicians making uninformed decisions about OUR bodies.
