Hey y'all,
I know I've been talking a lot about perfectionism. I can't help it...
Perfectionism is pervasive pattern— reinforced by a demanding system that keeps us all in line and addicted to reaching, competing, defending and hoarding. It is a relentless drive towards a never-ending destination that keeps us deeply insecure and dissatisfied. Bottomline, perfectionism is making us miserable...and worse, it's holding us back from healing and wholeness.
Recovering from perfectionism (and other toxic afflictions of dominant culture) is an ongoing, everyday process of paying attention, disrupting old patterns and practicing change. It's a journey I've been on for many decades and next week, I'm inviting you to join me in embodied inquiry and shared practice.
So what IS perfectionist anonymous?
👉🏼 PA is an invitation to dig deeper, challenge dominant norms and disrupt old patterns that are in the way of our wholeness.
👉🏼 PA is systemic and social justice frame that understands that perfectionism is a function of the dominant culture intended to keep us stuck in a perpetual cycle of scarcity and suffering.
👉🏼 PA is choosing to do something different and experiment with new practices and ways of being and doing.
👉🏼 PA is a recovery program that recognizes that we cannot heal in isolation and provides a container of mutual care, responsibility and practice to support our personal and collective healing.
Ready to practice together, ?
