I have some really big news to share with you today. Yesterday, during our annual member meeting, our members in attendance enthusiastically voted to change our name from NARAL Pro-Choice America to Reproductive Freedom for All.

I am so thrilled. Our new name tells people exactly who we are and what our organization and this broader movement is fighting for: A future where reproductive freedom is a reality for everybody. With more Americans than ever supporting abortion rights, this change will help us chart a path forward to mobilize an ever-expanding base of support.

I know this is a big change, but it is also a natural evolution of our work. We have been fighting for reproductive freedom for all since NARAL was founded in 1969. For over 50 years, our organization and members have unapologetically helped lead the charge on both the state and national levels to protect and advance reproductive freedom through grassroots organizing, electoral change, and political advocacy.

Our more than 4 million members are fired up—and we want more of the 8 in 10 Americans who support legal abortion to join them. The goal? To create an even more powerful, winning and diverse coalition of current and newly engaged activists.

With your help, we'll continue building a broad and powerful movement of people of all ages, races, genders, and geographies united in our fight for reproductive freedom for all.
