Dear John, Ruth’s List Florida is excited to announce our latest endorsement — Representative Katherine Waldron for re-election to House District 93. This is our third endorsement of Rep. Waldron, who is a proven leader and dedicated fighter for the greater Palm Beach community.
During her first term in the state House, Rep. Waldron introduced a bill to prohibit the sale or manufacture of cosmetics tested on animals, and sponsored legislation to require the AHCA to provide Medicare coverage for medically-tailored groceries. Beyond her work in the legislature, she co-founded Palm Beach County Cares, an organization dedicated to collecting and providing donated supplies and funding for the rebuilding of Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands following Hurricanes Irma and Maria.
